My name is Andy Watt and wasted potential is my home on the web. I am a mobile developer working in Atlanta, GA. This blog is the third incarnation of wasted potential. I’m not a writer, so creating a blog is a bit strange, but there is a simple reason for it…

I work as a interactive developer for Toolbox No. 9, an amazing company. I love my job, but it is a challenge to keep up with the latest technology. I need to be proficient at iOS, Android, HTML, CSS, javascript, Actionscript, PHP, mySQL… the list is practically endless. And that doesn’t include the production work that requires me to know how to do illustration, photo manipulation, video editing and sound editing. My job would be practically impossible if not for the generous nature of others who have shared their wisdom on forums and blogs all over the web. Wasted potential is my opportunity to contribute to that knowledge base. I hope to help other developers in the same way that I have been helped.

So that’s it. If you want to know more about me, you can read my resume here. Otherwise, check out the blog. Anything I want you to know is probably there.
